Welcome to Mckendree Chapel
GATHERING IN THE NAME OF JESUS SINCE 1812
Today, as a Global Methodist congregation, we remain rooted in Scripture and committed to making disciples of Jesus Christ.
Whether you’ve been part of church your whole life, are returning after some time away, or are simply looking for a place to belong, there’s a place for you at McKendree Chapel.
Come worship with us. Come grow with us. Come be part of the next chapter of a story God has been writing for more than two centuries.
For more than 200 years, McKendree Chapel has been a small but active rural community of faith in Troy, Ohio—a place where generations have gathered to worship God, grow in faith, care for one another, and share the hope of Jesus Christ.
OUR BELIEFS
At McKendree Chapel, our faith is centered on Jesus Christ. We believe in one God, revealed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and in Jesus Christ, who died for our sins and rose again to offer forgiveness and new life. We believe the Bible is God’s inspired Word, trustworthy and authoritative in guiding what we believe and how we live.
As a Global Methodist church, we believe God’s grace reaches out to every person and that salvation is received through faith in Jesus Christ. Through the work of the Holy Spirit, God transforms us to become more like Jesus, growing in holiness and love for others. These convictions call us to worship faithfully, serve our neighbors, and make disciples. Learn more by reading the Global Methodist Church’s full Articles of Faith.
